New Management Company
We’ve learned that the new management company is Ira Drucker Associates. Drucker was involved in the conversion of the Covenant House into the Maritime Hotel. He also recently partnered with other developers to develop the two Richard Meier glass towers on Perry Street.

Oh dear. This is a really, really ugly turn of events. None of the Drucker properties have class -- they are gauche playgrounds for rich, vapid partygoers. I'm sorry for everyone living in your classic, idiosyncratic place. I'll keep my fingers crossed for all of you, and for our increasingly despicable city.
NYC, RIP.

Toulouse-Lautrec never once (that we know of) turned to Eddie Degas, handed him a masterpiece and said, "Here, think you can spruce this up?"
We're sure the Druckers are the greatest and all, but they're not Stanley Bard. This is his baby. This is an abomination.

This management company is all about making things trendy, not real, to attract money. They are about exploiting a trend, not creating trends, new ideas, being ahead of the curve.
