Price Slashing
BD hotels continue to slash the room rates at the Chelsea. We hear that the Hampton Inn in Times Square is currently the only place with lower rates than the Chelsea. Meanwhile, minority shareholder Marlene Krauss's penthouse is still on the market at its original asking price of $4.7 million. No price chopping for Marlene. Surely somebody wants to be Marlene's neighbor!

What is the photo of?

That is Marlene's living room? Oh dear. It looks like my mother's living room in suburban nowhere in 1987, after she took the big antidepressant cocktail and decided to redecorate. Lithium Chic, I call it, designed to dull the senses. Yet, note the confrontational sofa setup. Please do not let this woman near the decor of the hotel, or it will be fit only for suburban shriners stuck in the Reagan years. She wants 4.7 million for her uninspiring, to say the least, space?

That is one of the real estate agent's photos of marlene krauss's apartment.
On another note, marlene is a mother. (hard to believe). I wonder if her children know what a monster she is. I feel bad for them.

How terribly beige. *wipes vomit from corner of mouth*
The woman's taste is in her rectum.

You keep mentioning price slashing at the venerable hotel. I know you mean it as a criticism, but as a Canadian who loves to stay at the Chelsea on my annual trek to Gotham, low prices are a good thing. Problem is, I can't seem to find these amazing deals you complain about.
Is it counterproductive of me to take advantage of these bargains? Can you tell me where I can find them?
I promise I'll hang out in the lobby with my sunglasses. I vow to get another haircut at Studio 303. I swear I'll live on egg rolls from Noodle Corner and tuna on rye from the deli next door...
